At the end of May we had a ceremony to name our Clubhouse “The Mick Collins Clubhouse”. This took place following a Millennium League match against Ditton Bowls Club. Sadly, Mick passed away last November after spending many years working tirelessly at Marden Bowls Club and Marden Village Club.
Our President Ray Lane and Geoff Chapman, General Secretary and past President of Kent Bowling Association, made introduction speeches about Mick’s contribution over the years to both his Club and the County. Mick’s widow, Carol Collins then unveiled the commemorative sign.
